Lunch and Learn with George Clark, president of Taylor Clark Gallery
Take a Deep Dive Into the Iconic Birds of America
Hear the story behind the landmark tribute to nature.
George Clark is a fine art dealer, consultant, and appraiser who has amassed over 35 years of experience in the printed works of John James Audubon.
Birds of America by John James Audubon is more than just a window into the natural world. With its 435 life-size watercolors—all reproduced from hand-engraved plates—this iconic collection raised the bar for all wildlife illustrations.
Join George Clark, president of Taylor Clark Gallery in Baton Rouge, as he traces the path that led to the creation of this celebrated classic. He’ll also explore Audubon’s later works and explain why this renowned naturalist is still relevant to today’s world.
A chef-prepared lunch will be served with selections from our fine dining venues.
The early bird gets the seat, so don’t delay. RSVP today!
