Tonya Dixon

Since 2014

Tonya Dixon joined St. James Place in April 2014 and serves as the Director of Active Lifestyles. She oversees several different divisions of campus activity including Transportation, the Wellness Center, the Concierge Desks, and the Salon. She sells Assisted Living for private pay residents and also manages Life Enrichment for Independent Living and Assisted Living, where her team provides amenities and services designed to strengthen your mind, body, and spirit for a more enjoyable and enriching lives.

Tonya also oversees our volunteer program and social media and works with our marketing team on public relations and media opportunities. She is also in charge of Community Outreach, focusing on partnering with community groups and striving to be a resource for all aspects of aging for the Baton Rouge community.

She is a graduate of LSU and has worked at several non-profits in strategic development.
