Emily Dobson joined St. James Place in March 2026 and serves as the Director of Resident Services, where she is dedicated to enhancing the daily experiences and overall well-being of residents. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from Louisiana State University. Emily brings a strong background in leadership, having spent much of her career in fitness and wellness industries, where she developed programs focused on improving quality of life. She has also gained valuable experience working in mental health services, furthering strengthening her ability to support diverse needs.

As Resident Services Director, Emily is responsible for leading a team of professionals, who are charged with supporting, educating, and meeting the needs of our Independent Living residents and their families. Services her team provides includes education, wellness services, clinical monitoring and support, physical health, and pastoral care. She is committed to creating a vibrant, supportive environment that promotes both physical and emotional wellness.
